Profile Information

About:

I am a new gardener with a breezy apartment balcony and a very small community plot. I am in the process of learning about gardening techniques, composting, plant life and heirloom varieties. I have also just started making homemade yogurt and cheese and frequent the open air markets - particularly the Fresh Farm Market on Sundays at Dupont Circle, DC that has lots of good free-range everything. Last year I took a 4-harness weaving course and would like to do more work with fiber arts.

How did you first find out about Gardenfork and Real World Green?

I have been trying for the past 3 months. The job market is terrible right now. My friend owns a tanning salon and she has said people with college degrees have been applying with resume in hand for an 8/hr job. Crazy!
